Who am I? – My name is Craig Hurst. I am a believer in Jesus Christ. I am a husband and father. I am a member of Grace Community Church in Howard City, MI. I love to read books and encourage others to read.
My life verse is 2 Timothy 2:15 – “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth (ESV).”
Why am I Blogging? – I am blogging because I love to read good books that challenge me to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. I want to share what I read with others and I want to challenge every Christian to read and read more than they did last year even if by one book.
What is the Purpose of this blog? – This blog seeks to glorify God by bringing to its readers attention books that glorify God in their content. There are book reviews, book suggestions and notable quotes from books that I may have reviewed and wanted to share more or that I decided not to review but wanted to share something from them. At times I may review a book that does not fall in line with the purpose of this blog because I feel it necessary for Christians to address and deal with.
